It's true. Look what happened after the 1920s. We can be nasty, lose a couple of cycles, and when you screw up, there will be this giant narrative that has built over 6-10 years that people will then be ready listen to.

Its just that Obama was less acceptable than Bill to half the country the same way Trump was less acceptable to W, who was less acceptable to Reagan, and Reagan was supposed to be unacceptable. Who will be that much less acceptable than Obama or Trump? The dam will break, I just don't want my leaders to be the ones who have to "buy" it.
