In the Democratic primary poll, 75% of women (making up a 55% majority) support one of the 3 women in the field (Hillary, Kirsten & Elizabeth), while only 49% of men do the same. This is still a majority though, since only 27% of male Democrats prefer one of the 6 male politicians.

So this is the actual ratio in the primary poll divided onto the two sexes:

Female candidates vs Male candidates

Women: 75%-13%
Men: 49%-27%

Overall: 63%-21%

If we leave out the undecided from the poll, the actual numbers would look like this:

Women: 85%-15%
Men: 64%-36%

That's quite amazing, isn't it? That 17 out of 20 female Democrats would choose one of the 3 female candidates over the 6 male candidates. Even among men, almost two in three would prefer one of the female candidates. And this is far from only because of Hillary, cause even Warren and Gillibrand finish 3rd and 4th in the poll! Only Joe Biden receives more than 3% among the male candidates. It looks like almost every Democratic voter at this point is determined to elect the first female president of the United States in 2016!

And here's another cool fact: Elizabeth Warren is just as popular as Joe Biden among white voters! Smiley Both receive 8% from white Democrats. However Warren receives 2% or less among all minority subgroups, which probably indicates that they haven't heard about her yet or don't know enough about her. Clearly there's still a huge upside potential for Elizabeth out there. Smiley And another cool fact: Gillibrand is just as popular among male Democrats as among female Democrats. Smiley That is almost true for Warren as well. However Hillary has much more support among female voters.

Check the internals. This poll overpolled Republicans.

Yeah, they oversampled both Republicans, Romney voters AND men. Quite impressive lol. Tongue That explains why Hillary is just barely beating her GOP opponents, unlike in other recent polls.
