Pittsburgh has an H.  God damnit, why can't you people understand this?  [/sarcasm]

It *was* official changed to Pittsburg by some Federal Quango in the late 19th century... but there was apparently a big fuss over it and Pittsburgh refused to use the "improved" name. So it was changed back.
Burgh is Scots for Borough and is pronounced Burra, btw.
