I don't like it because the recognition is arbitrary, based on the judgement of one person. It is debatable if one person merits recognition while another could be overlooked. I don't think we should have these stars.

Not everyone can get a sticker, Poirot. This isn't kiddie league baseball.

I guess I have a more egalitarian view of citizens and less cliquey than some.
