After watching the NBA playoffs, I have to say, soccer would be much more fun if there were pick'n'rolls.

Hopefully Germany/Italy will be more exciting than this foul-infested slow game yesterday.

Even though I think Spain will ultimately win the title again (have to, because of my predictions), I really hope Germany (or even Italy) will beat them.

I understand you, Spain isn't playing its best football but is demonstrating a high competitive level. Spain-Portugal was a boring match until the extra-time, in part because both defences were great and Spain's offensive game have serious troubles in this tournament. We'll see in the final, probably it will be an exciting game though maybe not a good one.

Well, Italians and Italy supporters: Hope to see a good game tonight. I think we'll win but I realize you can be quite strong if you want to. Especially to us a major pain in the a**.

If you do win, though, I'll be happy to support you against Spain.

Italy won't defeat the Spanish, so we need Germany to win tonight.

Quite simple.

Pretty bold thing to say considering how well we played against them in the first match.

I fear....unfortunately....that Spain will win the final 1-0 no matter who their opponent is... That's how predictable they are.

I'd say Italy is the team which is most likely to resist until the penalties, and most likely to win at the penalties thanks to Buffon's geniality. On the other hand, Germany is probably the most likely to actually score a goal against them. So, I can't tell which of the two is more likely to win. But at least with Italy we won't get the exact same final as in 2008.

Balotelli is insanely good at beating offside.

The Germans are paying for their arrogance.  They thought they had won the game before it was even played.
Congratulations to Italy.  They have played the best football in this tournament and they deserve to be in the final.

Absolutely fantastic game. It's 2-0 but there have been enough clearcut chances for it to be 3-2.
