Yes, of the remaining Communist one party states, Cuba is definitely the most benign. Not exactly a ringing endorsement given the opponents, but it still makes the razor focus on Cuba weird (as opposed to , say, TPP signee Vietnam).

Yeah, it's actually kind of odd, considering that the US fought a devastating war against Vietnam, but we're buddies with them now. Why are they less of an enemy than Cuba, against which we had one failed invasion?
