I guessing Jindal getting 48%.

I watched two of the debates this week (one with and one without Jindal). Georges was the least impressive while Campbell was more impressive than I thought.

I'm sure I have already predicted Jindal running in 2016 on here.

Polls close in an hour or so.

Less than 1% reporting, but Campbell has 40,000 to Jindal's 18,000. Very early but a little odd. It won't last long.
Foti is in third place for Attorney General. The other statewide incumbents are looking good.

Jindal is now at 30,000 and Campbell hasn't went up much.

That's starting to look more like what we were expecting.

Amen to that one too.

With Georges black endorsements and two Dems in the race - the precinct results from Orleans Parish should be very ineteresting.

I was driving through New Orleans and saw a "Black Democrats for Jindal" sign with Rev. Ray Brown's name on the bottom. Brown was planning on running but changed his mind. So they all have support in the city.

GCR is calling it for Jindal without a run-off.

Holy crap. All 3 of the top candidates were Republicans at the beginning of this year. They got 86% between them.

Yes. By endorsing Jindal without even considering anyone else, the state party alienated two other Republicans.

Also of interest to me personally, my mother's forth cousin's husband is in first place in a 6 way house election and (barring a big shift) will be in a run-off next month.

You know who your mother's fourth cousin's husband is!?

Yeah. I also have a former Lt. Governor and either Lewis or Clark (I can never remember which) in my ancestry.
