I have very shrewd personal reasons for hoping Sessions goes through, but DeVos going down wouldn't break my heart any.

Maybe Dean Heller could vote against DeVos?

Heller supports DeVos

Murkowski and Collins vote no officially. I haven't heard Paul vote yet.

Well, looks like we'll be chucking a grenade at public education and falling even further behind. Thanks, Congressional Republican schmucks! Thanks, Trump voters!

Public education could use a grenade chucked their way, but I'm not sure this is the way to go.

NV is D+1 in 20 months. Republicans officially sold out the children of this country.

Nevada is much more Republican in midterm years (unless Harry Reid's running). I wouldn't count Heller out any time soon.

Heller: Aye
Flake: Aye

Hoping competent democrats run against both of these guys.

Sessions: Present

--------------------------------

Sessions confirmed 52-47-1.

I hope Heller gets knocked out, he's in a very blue state. Flake? Probably not.

The NV Dems have zero bench.
