Breaking News: Romney to hold a Press Conference announcing that the US will impose Sanctions on the Russian Government following their annexation of Crimea. NATO will also hold an emergency press conference on this issue:

Romney: As you may all know , yesterday the Russian Government in a flagrant violation of international law decided to annex Crimea in an act of aggression. In response to this the United States of America will impose sanctions on the Russian Government, and these sanctions will range from freezing US assets of unnamed Russian Nationals, and a ban on business transactions with Russian state Oil Companies.

News Reporter 1 : Are the Oil Companies being sanctioned the ones being directly controlled by the Russian Government or will more be sanctioned as well.

Romney: For now , only Oil Companies which are directly controlled by the Russian Government  such as Rosneft will be sanctioned but that does not mean they will remain the only ones to be sanctioned in the future

News Reporter 2: What is the purpose of the NATO emergency meeting

Romney: Purpose of it is so NATO as a whole takes actions against Russia, and not just individual countries in NATO

News Reporter 3:Will troops be sent to Eastern Europe to deter future Russian aggression

Romney: I am not at Liberty to answer that question in certainty yet

Breaking News: US and NATO to send troops to Eastern Europe  to deter further Russian Aggression

Romney's Statement :

Romney: After careful consideration, the United States and our NATO allies have decided to send troops to Eastern Europe to deter further aggression from Vladimir Putin and the Russian Government. Now while we may be sending troops to Eastern Europe they will strictly be on a defensive mission, and I hope Mr.Putin comes to his senses and withdraws troops from Crimea and stops his government's aggressive foreign policy in Eastern Europe as it is in all of our interests not to have the Cold War be restarted.

White House releases Statement Clarifying Proposal :

White House Statement :

We do understand that some sections of the President's Proposal would currently not be constitutional, and that's is why the President has asked Congress to pass a constitutional amendment that allows those needed budgetary reforms to be implemented. For the sections of the President's Proposal that are currently constitutional, the President has asked Congress to pass those reforms in a regular bill.

Congress Passes an Modified Line Item Veto and the President signs it

Differences from the 1996 Line Item Veto Act:

- Unlike the 1996 Line Item Veto act, if the President decides to use their line-item veto power the modified expenditure bill goes back to Congress for approval

- If Congress rejects the modified bill, the original bill goes back to the President where the President must either sign the bill or veto the entire bill.

-If Congress approves the modified bill, the modified bill becomes law

Romney Signs Bill that turns his executive orders on regulatory reform into law

Romney: Thank You , Thank You. Today we will be reforming our regulatory system on a long-term basis to make them more efficient and make sure that we dont impose regulations that do more harm then good in the future . Some of the reforms we will be making is that from now on any proposed regulation must do a cost-benefit analysis from a third party group before it can get implemented, and any proposed regulation which is deemed to have a larger cost than a benefit will not bebe implemented. Also, we will require regulations to have a periodic analysis of them be done to make sure those regulations that have been implemented continue to have the benefits outweigh the costs. Now while these reforms have already begun to take place over the past year, these reforms would only last for the duration of my presidency and now thanks to this bill they will last long past the date I will be leaving office.

2014 Midterms: Potential Senate Pickups

John King: When we began this election cycle, we believed that 10 Senate Seats currently held by the Democrats and 4 seats held by the Republicans had potential to flip. Now after all the primaries and with less than 3 months to go till the election we believe that Kentucky and Kansas is no longer a vulnerable Republican seat and Iowa , Colorado and West Virginia. The reason West Virginia isnt no longer a tossup is due to Jay Rockefeller deciding to run for another term and most prominent Republicans in the state deciding not to run due to that. This leaves us with 9 potentially vulnerable Senate seats up this year and these are what we think about those races.

Alaska: Mark Begich (D) vs Dan Sullivan (R) - Tossup

Arkansas : Mark Pryor(D) vs Tom Cotton (R) - Lean Republican Pickup

Georgia : David Perdue(R) vs Michelle Nunn(D) - Tossup

Louisiana : Mary Landrieu(D) vs Bill Cassady(R) vs Rob Maness(R) - Lean Democratic Hold

Montana: Brian Schweitzer(D) vs Steve Daines(R) - Lean Democratic Hold

New Hampshire: Jeanne Shaheen(D) vs Chris Sannu(R) - Tossup

North Carolina: Kay Hagen(D) vs Thom Thills(R) - Tossup

Ohio Special  : Mary Taylor(R) vs P.G Sittenfeld(D) - Lean Republican Hold

South Dakota : Mike Rounds(R) vs  Rick Weiland(D) - Likely Republican Pickup

So Republicans can get to 60 senators by flipping in just one of these remaining tossups in states which have a democratic senator and hold Georgia , but even if they lose Georgia they can get to 60 Senate seats by flipping just two.

If your a democrat you sure wish the Senate seats up were the ones coming up in 2016 and not the ones in 2014 because that map is much easier for the Democrats to do well in then this one.

2014 Midterms : Potential Gubernatorial Pickups

John King: Ok now lets move from the houses races to our Gubernatorial Battleground map . These are the races we believe are vulnerable to flipping

Alaska : Sean Parnell(R) vs Bill Walker(I) - Lean Independent Pickup

Arkansas: Mike Ross(D) vs Asa Hutchison(R) - Lean Republican Pickup

Colorado: John Hickenlooper(D) vs Bob Beauprez- Lean Democratic Hold

Connecticut: Dan Malloy(D) vs Tom Foley(R)- Tossup

Florida: Rick Scott(R) vs Bill Nelson(D) - Tossup

Georgia: Nathen Deal(R) vs Jason Carter(D)- Lean Republican Hold

Illinois : Pat Quinn(D) vs Bruce Rauner(R) - Tossup

Kansas: Sam Brownback(R) vs Paul Davis(D) - Tossup

Massachuttes: Martha Coakley(D) vs Charlie Baker(R) - Tossup

Michigan: Rick Synder(R) vs Gretchen Whitmer(D)- Tossup

New Hampshire: Maggie Hassan(D) vs Walt Havenstein(R)- Lean Republican Gain

Pennsylvania: Tom Corbett(R) vs Tom Wolf(D)- Likely Democratic Gain

Rhode Island: Gina Raimondo(D) vs Allan Fung(D)- Lean Democratic Hold

Wisconsin: Scott Walker(R) vs Tammy Baldwin(D) - Lean Republican Hold

Now Im sure everyone will be asking what about New York what about New York. Well our Polls show Governor Andrew Cuomo leading Donald Trump by 14 or more points in every poll

Just to remind that in Louisiana's case there is a jungle primary in November 2014 and then a runoff in next month if no one gets at least 50 %. So now there should be more than 2 candidates.

Romney Responds to Ferguson unrest

Romney: Nearly two weeks ago Michael Brown was tragically killed in an unfortunate encounter with the police , and my prayers are with his family. Currently, the state of Missouri is investigating the incident to see whether or not the actions what led to Mr.Brown death is warranted of being dealt with criminally or not. As we also know over the last two weeks their has been major unrest in the city of Furguson and I just want to tell the people that rioting or protesting violently will help the situation and only make your community a less safe place to be for your kids and everyone else who is living in that community. I hope everyone who wants to protest does so , but does so peacefully as while you have all the right in the world to protest you dont have a right to put someone else safety at risk while doing so .
