I could see the argument for workers having a minority position on the board but it really isn't the business of government to mandate this. This proposed bill disincentivizes entrepreneurship because if your company is successful enough to become a corporation you have to forfeit a majority position on your own company's board.

Having "greater visibility and a voice" and a "greater say" does not necessitate giving a majority of board control to workers. This is the language of worker's rights and giving workers a mandated portion of board control (not a majority, though) with the actual aim of communism lite.

Statism and government control represent a truly slippery slope toward the loss of freedom and the downfall of capitalism in favor of authoritarian communism.

Theres like dozens of reasons this is a bad bill. But like its hilarious that this just says corporations, which are actually a hell of a lot more transparent than LLCs. So youd get more shady LLCs as a result with less public oversight, which is probably the point. Imagine if insisted I now controlled 3/5 of your house. Im pretty sure at that point eminent domain would have been violated. I dont even like corporations and yet I find this bill foolish and ridiculous.

Like corporate organizational law isnt even a regional policy, its a State policy. This violates our regional rights way too much.
