Which parent were you closest to as a kid?

My mom.  Like Santander (who seems to be me on opposite day), I only became close to my dad as an adult.

Girls are closer to their dads, and boys are closer to their moms.  General rule of thumb, though of course there are exceptions. 

I honestly can't think of any person I know in RL that would fit this model.

I mean... that might be true for you... but there is a reason that "mama's boy" and "daddy's girl" are a thing.  And I can rattle off a long list of people I know IRL that fit this model to a T.
