That's huge for us. The last time Switzerland won a medal at a world championship was in 1948. I vaguely remember when the Swiss team reached the semi-finals in 1998, but the way they are playing in this tournament is much more impressive. The USA are obviously favored to win but anything can happen now.

I believe the last Swiss medal happened in a championship where only 3 counties took part. Cheesy
