If Bloomberg runs for President, who would be a good pick for his VP?

Someone high-profile. Hagel, Lieberman and Paul are all possibilities. So is Colin Powell, IMO.

I'm not sure if Paul would accept being number 2 to a fascist such as Bloomberg, but then again, anything can happen in politics. The other three would make good running mates for him, though.

Fascist? LOL. You need a serious sanity readjustment.

Well, he supports banning trans-fats and public smoking, policies that border on fascism. Nevertheless, even if he is a fascist, I still doubt Paul would be willing to serve alongside a man who supports regulating what people do in their private lives.

Fascism is drawing on an idealized past and then trying to recreate that past using reeducation and propaganda programs. Smoking and trans fats have nothing to do with fascism.

Powell. If he hadn't gone out in shame it'd be so much better though...

Isn't Powell from New York?

I had just thought of that, and was about to change my post. I know he was born in NY, and I'm pretty sure he still lives here.

So yeah, that choice is pretty much out the window. Shame... I hope he doesn't choose Lieberman.

Scratch my previous reply.

Yes, Powell is from New York. However, that does not preclude him from being Bloomberg's VP. All that means is that the electors from New York may not vote for both Bloomberg and Powell as Pres and VP.
