If Trump picks Flynn, it would be the first cross party (Democratic-Republican) ticket since 1860. I would get behind that.
Actually it will be the first time in history a Republican ticket will have two lifelong Democrats.
He isn't really a lifelong Democrat, unless you're implying he's a "RINO" or a plant. He's switched back and forth multiple times, supporting GOP candidates in the '80s and '90s, supporting Democrats in the '00s, and returning to the GOP after 2012.
He's an independent overall.
