Er... Social Security is not bankrupt. It's projected to pay out benefits at 100% until 2037. But I know facts play no part in GOP debates.

The problem is where does Perry's support go? Romney? Hah! Maybe Bachmann, Santorum, or Cain for a while but they'll eventual go back to Perry because none of them are viable candidates. It's Perry or bust for most Conservatives.
