Not at all; the welfare state is only necessary within capitalism  because workers are generally unable to survive on just their labor, as the ruling class extracts said fruits. That's what wage labor is; theft.

Where did you steal that one from; Marxism for Infants?

Its still a better post than any non-Marxist one.
