Still a bit surprising to me because Romney did rather well in GOP caucus states overall.  But that was like, two or three Romneys ago.

Romney has always struggled in conventions, even in 2008 I remember he lost WV convention to Huckabee because McCain's people crossed over and voted for him to deny Romney the win.

What is the difference between a caucus and a state convention, exactly?  Like, how do you become a delegate?
