Is it me or is this race polled far too much? How about we get more polls for closer races?

I'd imagine they're polling the Senate race, and ask about the gubernatorial race at the same time.

There are those races played on by the media as 'big races' which aren't really big competitive races (ND is an example, Hoeven's name likely gives it an aura of 'big race') but which are still excessively polled.

Though I'm increasingly certain that Dubie will win in VT after spending a week there, I'd like to have a poll there, for example. Maine would be nice as well.

60% for a non-incumbent? I mean, Huntsman Jr. didn't even get that much in Utah, in 2004. Smiley

Huntsman's opponent was a Matheson.

Better example is West Virginia in 2004 -- Joe Manchin won that open seat by 30 points.

They're polling the gubernatorial race at the same time as the senate race.

It would be very amusing/ironic if Reid Sr. stayed in his current position while Reid Jr. loses the governoship by a landslide, no?

Also, what JohnnyLongtorso said.

I think that's been a very solid possibility ever since Sandoval entered the race

The Madonna of politics isn't doing well? What a surprise.
