This is a clearly needed bill to protect Atlasia.

I can’t support this bill in its current form.

Section 3 in particular is very troubling. The police usually employ drones to track suspects while in hot pursuit. There’s no time to get a warrant while the police is actively tracking someone fleeing the scene of a crime. This bill wouldn’t allow the police to do that.

Section 1 would stop our military from flying drones from bases to and from training areas, between bases, and, more troubing, from non-coastal bases to war zones.

I’m willing to amend section 3 to “Police do not have the right to conduct surveillance on the Atlasian people with drones unless a warrant is given to target a specific person.

And section 1 would stop the military drones from flying in our neighborhoods, from scaring our children

I’d like to see more debate on this. I’m willing to amend Section 3 to what I previously stated, Section 1 is specifically designed to make sure unknowing government surivellence doesn’t happen to Atlasian citizens.

I am proposing a new amendment:

Atlasian Drone Regulation Act ot 2018 Amendment:

1. Any Atlasian military drone can not fly over a residential neighborhood, or small town or city. (Unless such scenarios as an traveling to a military base, invasion or ground war on our soil.)
2. Any Atlasian military drone used for the monitoring of Atlasian citizens is made illegal without a warrant.
3. Police do not have the right to use drones to track citizens unless a specific warrant is given.

I’m positive this is necessary for Atlasia.

The one that’s left is the one I most strongly wanted. I’m okay with it.
