Let's see, we have Walker, Huckabee, Santorum, and Cruz all competing for the Iowa Pub evangelical vote (with Carson and Jindal out there somewhere, and maybe Perry reading up on his Bible). Sounds good to me! Smiley

Why does that sound good to you? Because of a vote split? Last time, with days left before voting, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum and Gingrich were all about tied in Iowa polling, pretty far behind Romney and Paul. So Cons are fairly likely to rally disproportionately to one choice. The other effect of an abundance of religious candidates- including not just these but also Rubio, Kasich, Paul, even Bush who is wooing them- is it creates a race to be as socially conservative as possible. I also wouldn't say the Iowa winner is an unlikely nominee. Huckabee and Santorum were at huge financial disadvantages, but W and Dole were not.

Classic True Leftist success story. We accomplished nothing, but in doing so we came out the victors!

They're right. Warren became the leading voice on these issues, creating a lot of buzz about her getting in and there being money and volunteers waiting for her if she does. Hillary, eager to avoid, invites Warren to a private meeting presumably to assure her she would push her issues so Warren wouldn't have to run. Hillary does in fact run pushing Warren's issues and co-opting a lot of her rhetoric.  Sorry dude but that is a success for the Draft Warren people.

Here's a theory on how Walker is using that idea to railroad Rubio into the #2 spot with Rubio responding with surrogates hitting Walker.

What's strange is Walker may eventually need to go negative on Rubio to survive but he's boxing himself in by now saying he has confidence in him. At the Romney summit, he did again use the "Senators haven't done jack" line though.
