A movie which dramatized the July 20 Plot to kill Adolf Hitler.

Starred Tom Cruise as Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg, Kenneth Branagh as Major General Henning Von Tresckow and Bill Nighy as Major General Friedrich Olbricht.

I felt Cruise should have at least been nominated for best actor, but there's a major flaw. After the opening lines barely any German was spoken and little (except for the actual Valkyrie documents) writing was in German either.

Eh. It was a good movie, but nowhere near best actor/picture quality.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Movies set in a specific country should be in that country's language. It just seems weird to have them speaking English, just for the benefit of American audiences.

It was okay.  Could've been far more suspenseful in the tense moments.
