It's only our resident authoritarian racists who will defend the officers.

In any case, it's pretty interesting seeing that the woman who called the officers in is just making stuff up about the poor student like "he had a crowbar!". She's trying to cover up her own bigotry.

This is just disgusting, because he fits a "profile". Cops have gotten too much of a pass for bullsh**t, but also their cops at the top of these jurisdictions have gotten carte-blanche to do whatever the hell they want, they overstep their boundaries. It's what most of us politically call "engineering". They're following orders but no one is getting held accountable.
