MSNBC just released some exit poll numbers. The economy was the top issue in all four states but the Iraq War nearly tied it in Vermont (40%-36%).

Haha oh Vermont. Gotta love you.

Obama has 9 out of 15 pledged delegates for Vermont. If he can break 65%, he gets a 10th delegate.

He probably will fall short of 65%. Oh well.

Supposedly a measure has passed in Brattleboro, Vermont which calls for the indictment of Bush and Cheney, meaning if they ever enter Brattleboro they are to be arrested. Awesome.

What? That's hilarious. Purple heart Vermont

Looks like Edwards still has strong support in the Texas panhandle.
Thats good, right? The racist, conservative Dems will make up his vote, yes?

Yep

The Dallas CBS affiliate just called Texas for McCain giving him the nomination.

Hopefully the Dems will be wrapped up too after this. Although the GOP has really been done for a while

Texas exit poll:

Clinton 50.0%
Obama 48.6%

Are early voters factored into that? Regardless, looks like a nailbiter...just the way I like it.

I actually had Rhode Island going for Obama for a while in my prediction map... no real logic behind it. I switched to Clinton at the end though.

Texas exit poll suggests Limbaugh did indeed have a big effect on the race; Republicans only 53-46 for Obama.

Looking at the OH and TN border counties, KY and WV are going to be 2:1 Clinton.

Check out this tidbit, and this is a primary.

The Texas Democrats are energized for the first time in a long time methinks... usually it must be pretty depressing being a Democrat in Texas.

What a terrible night. I got food poisoning or something from sushi causing me to keep throwing up and now Obama got his ass kicked by Hillary tonight. Ugh.

If 11 straight wins couldn't deliver Texas or Ohio, how the HELL is Mississippi and Wyoming going to help deliver PA, a closed primary??

Hillary is not going to drop out after winning PA... This is going to go all the way to the convention. The Democrats are in serious trouble.

Anecdotal report:  My parents, both Obama supporters for now (my father switches back and forth) report from a 70-75% Hispanic precinct in the middle of Houston's East End (a little bit more upperclass than most).  150-25 Clinton.  Obama barely reaches viability.  Maybe through their showing up.

This afternoon, my father drove his car up the driveway to their home.  Someone had smashed a watermelon all over the concrete on the driveway.  It wasn't a seedless watermelon.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN PEOPLE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I NEED SOME ANSWERS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

1. Black people like watermelon
2. Smashed watermelon represents Obama getting smashed in Texas
3. Your father was an Obama supporter so if he supports Obama again he will in turn get smashed- watermelon style
