Badger only gave us the opinion of some psychologists on the effects of pornography on juveniles. What do the majority of psychologists and other relevant professionals think? I don't think conclusive studies have been done on the effects of pornography. There is also the issue of pornography being more available to today's youth due to the internet than in years past. Have the incidences of juvenile rape and other sexual misconduct gone up correspondingly? I would think not.

To be fully accurate, I gave a summary of the testimony and reports of multiple psychologists regarding what the bulk of scientific research in their field shows regarding the effect of pornography on juveniles. None said that glimpsing a single Playboy centerfold as a teenager would transform a kid into Ted Bundy. The same way that a single cigarette, or even a single pack, will likely give a kid lung cancer. But the demonstrative bulk of professional literature reported negative effects of prolonged pornography exposure to juveniles.

Currently juveniles have access to pornography with the click of a button, and they are free to view it as many times as they want.  This was not true even 20 years ago. Have problems with sexual misconduct or other problems with sexuality gone up among today's youth?

Since when is it a crime to NOT look at porn at 14 or 15 or 16 for that matter? Why does our culture force everyone to live lives of sin in order to be treated fairly. You got to look at porn at 14, have sex at 16, start smoking at 12 and start Marijauna by 16. Am I the only that finds something wrong with a culture that discourages NOT doing these thinks.

I don't find anything wrong with looking at porn at the age of 14 or having sex at 16. But smoking cigarettes and marijuana is harmful to your health and kids cannot make those decisions. Until you can prove to me that watching porn at 14 or having sex at 16 is harmful to one' health, please keep quiet and stop embarrassing yourself.

Who said it was a crime to not look at porn? I don't; I wouldn't if it became legal. Your faux outrage is amusing.

I think I can guarrentee you one thing Xahar, the outrage is very real. Its the way the supporters of this bill have approached our position.  People who live good productive lives are looked down upon in today's society. In order to fit in you have have to be doing the above things.

You seemed to act as if you think you do have all the right ideas, especially after the treatment I have received from you and your companions for opposing this bill. I get the same kind of elitist arrogance from you that I have gotten from Hamilton, Xahar, even PiT to some degree. It just gushes out in insufferable globs everytime you speak.

I think those who opposed this bill had a legitimate viewpoint that I disagreed with. I was being sarcastic, dummy. Didn't you read that part of the post. I haven't taken a position on that at all to be honest. What I was referring to was all the accusations of hyporcracy like "Everybody looks at porn at 14", and "I highly doubt you didn't look at porn when you were 14" and on and on and on. I would call that, giving us some sh**t.

Umm you don't think I know you were being sarcastic, especially when you made it pretty clear? I am sure Fritz was being sarcastic too but I just found it incomprehensible how someone could compare 14 year olds watching porn to starring in them.
