Van Hollen 44
Edwards 38

Personally I am still undecided although am leaning towards Van Hollen.

Caring about which candidate is more electable is something you do when the seat is a clear contest. This isn't going to be.

This race will be close, demographics will be key, which will help Edwards.

Who said anything about that?

I'm really hoping that Edwards wins, but I'd be OK with Van Hollen.

Edwards would do a far better job, plus the democrats have an actual chance for a black senator! Smiley

Van Hollen is a fundraising machine and helped the Dems takeover House in 2006-2010. He will be a better addition to Senate

They're literally exactly the same ideologically and the same age. But as stated before, Hollen has been more helpful to the rest of the party in fundraising, so I guess I'll support him.

Funny, that fact has had the opposite effect for me. Van Hollen is too close to the moneyed interests and Wall Street for my tastes.
