Or at least that's how I'd spin this if I were a Democrat:
Embassy Bomber Caught
And just hours before Kerry's speech.  Ouch.

We should get you a scarecrow for all of your straw man arguments.  Anyways, Pakistan was told to deliver high value targets during the Democratic National Convention.

Sure, from July 7th:

A couple months ago, in passing, I noted that the Bush administration had been leaning heavily on the Pakistanis to produce some high-value al Qaida bad-guys -- bin

Laden? Mullah Omar? Zawahiri? -- at the end of July, nicely timed to knock the Democratic convention seriously off-stride, and certainly, if at all possible, before the November election.

Well, he got it right that there would be some annoucement during the DNC.  You can't attack his credibility, this is from a while ago.

And CNN says that he was captured "a few days ago". Why are they announcing now?

Hey genius, the reason they don't announce a "capture" right away should be very obvious, and you would realize that if you actually hated terrorists as much as you hate George Bush.

When they capture a guy, they need to "work him" for information that might lead to other arrests/assinations. If the other side knows he's been captured, they will take evasive movements on the off-chance that he might "give somebody up" during questioning.

This is about as elementary as it gets. You do think it's a positive development when we capture a known terrorist, right?

This is the difference between Democrats and Republicans. For democrats protecting our country is political if a Republican is in office, but when a democrat is in office they say... oh wait the democrats have never caught a bigtime terrorist.

Well, they did catch Timothy McVeigh. Do you remember how they made such a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE deal about militia groups in the Mid-1990's? Right wing militia groups were the biggest threat in the world, but Islamic Terrorists...a fear tactic used by Republicans...what a ing joke the Democratic Party has become.

I didn't clarify. Radical Islamic Terrorists, but you are right about Clinton and the militia. Right wing groups are a danger but sick organizations like NAMBLA and the ACLU are given a pass.
