Ryan once benefitted from Social Security, now wants to eliminate it for others

Not true.  He's trying to save Social Security for others.

He would give Social Security away to profiteers in the financial industry who would then dribble away pittances much less generous than what we now have. But the quick-buck profiteers would get a huge chunk of the economy without having earned it.

Sure, he's trying to save Social Security -- so that most of it goes into the coffers of banks and insurance companies first!
