Oh boy... the Emoji Movie. It's bad, from the trailers and reviews about it, I can already make the
assumption that I will not be seeing it once it hits UK theaters. I can't even describe it. It's already out in the USA. I'm so sorry for you Americans.

I believe that the sheer existence of "The Emoji Movie" is proof that capitalism has outlived its usefulness and that it would be immoral to support the people who made this abomination by paying for the tickets to see it.

I went to the theater today (to see a different movie obviously), in front of me in line was this little girl (probably entering first grade) and her mother. The little girl ran up to the counter and then yelled out really enthusiastically "Two for The Emoji Movie!" and was jumping up and down in excitement. Her mom then handed her the money to pay the cashier for the tickets without even saying a word, and the cashier handed her some sort of thing with characters' faces on a stick, I guess the kids hold up them at points in the movie or whatever? One was a female character that she got, the other is the hand emoji for boys I guess. But yeah she was literally jumping up and down, that excited. I wish I could still be that easily amused.

But I felt sorry for her mom, who obviously was not excited at all.

It was originally at 0%, but Common Sense Media gave it a mixed review that thay basically said it wasn't a good movie but it was harmless and fine to bring your kids to, which was counted as a "fresh" review, bumping up the score.
