Unfortunately, I am agreeing with this more and more.

Yeah, it's time for him to go.

Rubio needs to take whatever course of action is likeliest to prevent a trump victory in Florida. I am unconvinced by these results that dropping out is the best course of action; I think his FL support would split between Cruz and Kasich and give the state to trump. If I'm Rubio, I keep fighting.

For a while, I thought that Cruz might be the anti-Trump candidate. I think he has even bigger electability problems than Trump, but whatever floats your boat, Republicans.

President TRUMP should kick Maine out of the Union
Fun fact: Maine used to be part of Massachusetts in colonial times. This was also when Vermont was included with New York.
If these returned to their original positions and each pair voted as one state, then these results would be better, right?

I wonder if this is indicative of things to come. Maybe the debate really hurt Trump.

Cruz's supporters aren't electability focused.  Cruz is harnessing conservative backlash to Trump's campaign.

I really think that this election is galvanizing conservatives.  Cruz's base-focused strategy likely wouldn't have worked in normal election years, but GOP turnout is so high this cycle that it may actually end up working in the general election.

Finally! Some results out of district 3 - looks like they should call it for Cruz now.

Rubio is the only candidate I really believed in, that really gave me a special feeling. Cruz doesn't do that for me, and I don't like his dirty tactics at all. But at least he's a true conservative, and Trump is not. At this point it seems pretty clear that Rubio is not going to win, and Trump is going to win in Florida anyway. Therefore I think it is better for him to drop out and let Cruz do the job, though I think Rubio will stay in and perhaps win some states after Florida.

Yeah, but Cruz doesn't split the GOP in half if he wins outright, even if he is unacceptable to general election voters.

Rubio is not going to win any states after losing Florida. I would be massively surprised if he did.

Because he's a low energy moderate, not a real conservative.

If the current results stand, the Kansas delegate result will be Cruz 25, Trump 11, and Rubio 4.
