No, they've literally defended the 1st Amendment rights of neo-Nazis and Klansmen.

ACLU usually has a good track record on protecting speech, from Nazis to computer-generated kiddie porn, to upskirt photography and ballot selfies. I think Shua is referring to their spotty defense of the Free Exercise Clause of the 1st Amendment, which is why I am increasingly reconsidering ever trying to work for them in the future. Maybe the better analogy for this thread would be "free speech voters"

I would consider saying someone has to photograph a gay wedding to be a matter of compelled speech.
