If lefties want to promote the enactment of liberal policies then they should leave Jones, Manchin and Heitkamp alone, and instead focus their energies into defeating the IDC turncoats at New York.

And that's why I hate the fringe left everywhere. The guys want to burn at the stake senators from Alabama and West Virginia for not having a perfect 100% liberal voting record, but at the same time have no problem to support Chelsea Manning, who is partying together with neo-Nazis, or anti-choice candidates.

It reminds me of our own SYRIZA people who accused socialist Papandreou of governing like Pinochet and at the same time they withheld any serious criticism against Golden Dawn and its thugs.

The base won't hold this against him, but white Alabamians might. He needed some whites, especially college-educated whites, to win and he'll need them again in 2020.

What? White Alabamians would probably be more likely to vote for him if he votes like a centrist.
