Well I know the poll asks "What's Barack Obama's religion" not "What do you think Obama believes" but 1% for atheist/agnostic is pretty low.

And lol at 28% of males but 41% of females being not sure. And a higher % of liberals than moderates believing that he is a Muslim.

More Republicans say he's a Muslim than think he's a Christian. I wonder if the GOP thinks Jeremian Wright is a Muslim too.

The chance of him being a private atheist is a lot higher than the non-existent chance of him being a private Muslim. You can't even be a private Muslim.

I personally have always said I believe he is agnostic.

It's kind of a leading question when you put it like that, but Eraserhead is right.

This, especially when considering he didn't join a denomination until his mid-20s (and getting his political career started). But then again we had this discussion a few weeks ago, he's far from the only politician who is religious in name only.

Your useless state has probably an even higher percentage of dumbs believing he's a Muslim. Strikes me as a dumb redneck thing to believe.

Or atheist.

But then again, a lot of American Christians are probably the "haven't read the Bible, haven't been/rarely ever go to church, thinks Jesus was a pretty cool guy" kind of Christian, who might as well just be Deist or Agnostic, which Obama could be.
