Lujan Grisham isn't the best candidate, but this is New Mexico; trust me when I say Democrats could do far worse than her given that they're definitely gonna nominate a machine candidate (i.e. Lujan Grisham probably isn't going to blow the race b/c she's incredibly corrupt which is always a serious concern with NM Dems).  Plus, she's not a bad candidate either (just a somewhat bland and generic one) and would probably wipe the floor with Steve Pearce even in a neutral year.  Also, Javier Gonzales is running for LG (which is probably his best play, tbh).

Agreed. Besides, the accusations against Apodaca (sexual misconduct, delinquent taxes, arrest warrant for unpaid ticket) are more serious. Especially considering Lujan Grisham didn't even fire Del Rey.
