This guy will be toxic to the Democratic Party. He represents all the mistakes Democrats made in the past and that they seem hellbent on repeating.

 Democrats need a coalition of voters to win, and African Americans are a key block of that coalition. You can't run somebody this bad with a key block of the voters you need.

For every Black voter who's not turning out for Pete in the GE, he could win 2 more White voters and therefore the GE against Trump ...

There's a large non-voter pool in the US, where Pete can tap into.

What non-voter pool does Pete appeal to? His supporters are among the most reliable voters in the U.S., skewing older and college educated.

It's not that it was staged or not. Children shouldn't be coming out, especially not like this. Homosexuality in children should not be glorified and publicized. I have personal objections to this.

At least 16 is when children's minds have matured enough yet to make that kind of decision.

No because heterosexuality is the natural sexual mindset that humans have and always have had.

Hi there, I knew I was gay at 12, but knew I was different from other boys as early as I could remember, and I have friends who knew when they were 5. Obviously a 9 year old is way way too young to be sexually active, but kids in elementary schools give each other Valentines in lower grades and play as if they were married to the opposite sex. It’s neither disgusting nor inappropriate for a young child to have an identity that isn’t based around marrying the opposite sex.

And for everyone commenting their "scientific" assertions: stop, you're straight and you have no idea how it feels. Your basic flaw, which is the flaw in almost every homophobic argument, is assuming that non-heterosexuality is purely sexual. It's not. Let this child hold hands with a boy while his friends hold hands with a girl. And if in some years he realizes he's attracted to girls, or both, or just boys, it's ok too. Let him live his f**king life and progress naturally. Not even gonna try to argue with the dumbass who thinks only heterosexuality is natural, of course.

Both heterosexuality and homosexuality are sexual preferences; in order to be classified as one or the other you have to have a sexual preference. Someone who is asexual, like a child, cannot feel sexual attraction and therefore neither term can be applied to them. Not hard to understand.

What do you think kids are doing in 1st grade when they exchange valentines in class? Is that sexual?

If I were in your position, I would at least consider Warren because she is pretty clearly the closest to Buttigieg in the race being a technocrat and this is a state where she can be competitive. Anywhere else I hold my nose and vote for the guy who will be a vegetable in office.

At this point I am following the party’s lead and voting for the non-Sanders candidate we’re lining up behind. Warren isn’t going to be the nominee and at this stage I’m not going to fall in love with her enough to vote for her.
