Actually yes. Freshman year of high school in my English class the only way to get an A on an assignment concerning how to "solve racism" was state the answer was some form of socialism.

High school teachers generally try to be as neutral as possible; they don't have nearly as much a free hand as the professors Santorum refers to.

I still got an A in the class in the end. I'm not sure where you live but your teachers are not neutral and make it loud and clear. My AP World History teacher who's kinda dumb is a libertarian and makes sure we know it and intergets his personal bias in history. Which is fine for me because I can separate known fact and his theories which sometimes do have strong support, but a lot of the class thinks they're the same. Or my English teacher in 8th grade who had us listen to Obama's inauguration than was applauding at the end and voted for him because he was black...
