Well he had an extra month or so, so ever since Ted Cruz dropped out, how do you grade the Trump campaign?  Key points being
1)  Attacking Hillary Clinton
2)  Unifying the Republican party behind him
3)  Creating a positive image
4)  Ground game, financing and operations
5)  Building his credibility as a potential future president

We shouldn't put him out of his misery yet. We can milk more entertainment and more Democratic votes out of this!

So objectively terrible that if he wins (or even comes close) we can conclude that campaigns are irrelevant, at least on the national stage.

LOL.
He is doing bad at this time. But the poll and its results would have been more interesting if you actually had an A thru F scale.

Pitifully awful,  to the point that it makes you wonder if Democracy really "is" a sound system when you have a major political party that nominates Trump for president....

One of the worst ever.  There's plenty of time for it to get better, but from what I've seen, it'll probably get worse.

I'd say the primary campaign was a masterful coup, resulting in the nomination of a despised, unqualified buffoon with zero substance.  So it's not so much that the general election campaign is failing, it's that the battle is so stacked against them that they were doomed before they even started.  They caught a tiger by the tail.

I give it a D all around.

Except for complete media saturation of his mug all over the place.

I give that an A.

It was masterful. Benefit from media exposure and benefit from trashing said media.
