I hope one of Lopez-Rivera's victims' relatives makes sure he sees real justice, finally.

Manning should still be in prison for a very long time, but is honestly a meaningless pawn. Take out Assange.

For those suggesting "taking out" Assange, have you considered how badly that would backfire?

He's kind of a pariah presently. He's discredited outside the circle of his rabid supporters as a Russian puppet.  And he hurts Wikileaks, and anti-US leakers in general just by association.

Kill him and everyone will instantly assume the US did it. European and other governments will be angry, and will a *lot* of motivated activists.

For anyone who doesn't like what Assange does, "taking him out" would probably be the stupidest possible thing to do. (So I guess it's no surprise that Trump-types would suggest it.)

Neither of these two deserve an iota of support from the left, and Obama's pardons/comutations of both was one of the major disagreements I have with him in later years
