Probably heavily for Bush and heavily for Kerry respectively.

Didn't Edwards lose his own county?

Kerry lost Edwards' home county (Wake, NC), yes.

No Edwards Lost it. If the people he Grew up with really thought anything of him he would have won is own county!

In case you've forgotton, John Kerry was the Democratic Nominee for President this year.

I was going to write more, but it struck me that that would be a waste of time.

Remember: "Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad"... but later on: "Four Legs Good, Two Legs Better"

Well that didn't stop all the talk in July about a possible Dem pickup of Virginia and North Carolina now did it?

No it didn't.

Which is beside the point (and I'm not going to get involved in a pointless flame war over Wake County, NC)

I'm not going to get into an argument about Wake County, either. Your point was that Kerry prevented a Dem victory in the county.

I did not say that

The polls in the spring and early summer showed NC and VA as close (Mason-Dixon included).
Both sides made predictions that at the time seemed sane but look weird now.

You didn't? Well what did you mean when you said "Kerry lost Edwards' home county (Wake, NC), yes."

Look... Kerry was the Democratic nominee, not Edwards.
I could also point out that Kerry lost... let's see... Sam Rayburn's home county.

Yeah, ok. I understand that. At first you said that you didn't say that and didn't mean it that way. I was confused.

Thats ok

[sarcasm]

No, Cheney lost it. That just proves how much Cheney sucks, he couldn't even win his own home county!

[/sarcasm]
