Should've nominated Singh. Wouldn't have changed the result at all — might even have been worse — but would be miles more entertaining than Mehta.

This also would/will be the largest Democratic victory in New Jersey (in any race) since 1984. It's only a few points off of being the largest ever and could very well be the fourth-largest.

  • Brendan Byrne (1973): 66.7%
  • Lyndon Johnson (1964): 65.6%
  • Bill Bradley (1984): 64.2%
  • Harrison Williams (1964): 61.9%
  • Jim Florio (1989): 61.2%
  • Harrison Williams (1976): 60.7%
  • Franklin Roosevelt (1936): 59.5%
