I don't get it. It's a big deal that Obama uses a plane to campaign in?

edit- and considering McCain has a nearly identical plane...

but I think the whole..."President" stitched into Obama's chair is perhaps just a little too presumptuous...

Um... I think that's because he's running for President maybe... just a hunch.

Now see, you should really pause for a moment before going sarcastic.  Just a moment.

Calling your plane O-Force One and then stitching "President" into your chair, before you're elected...doesn't seem like counting your chickens before they've hatched?

The name "O-Force One" appears nowhere in the article except the title. I think its just the name the article's author came up with.

True...i should always remember to not take the fark headline as literal truth...no matter how appropriate...but the chair...is a bit much.

Do you really think so? To me, the "08" shows that its just talking about the campaign. If Obama was really as drunk on pretension as claimed, I'd assume the sign would skip the explicit references to the campaign he's in and just say "Obama: President" or something. And hey, it's his campaign plane so it makes sense to have his campaign signs on the seats. Really, I think it is completely appropriate.
