Why does everyone think Trump won video gamers?

I think he won FPS sort of games, most other games probably went to Biden. FPS games skew very heavily male, and in general, the people who play those games seem like the more assertive type

The most Dem games are probably visual novels, anime games, Minecraft at this point.

FPS games are too widespread for FPS players to be significantly more pro-gun than their age cohort on the whole. Never was very into FPS but many of my RL friends are/were.

The one visual novel enthusiast I know IRL was a 2016 nonvoter -> 2020 Jorgensen voter due to a dislike of Hillary and more broadly the #woke, cultural leftist direction the Dems went in while they were in college.
