Of course you did. MasterJedi already announced his choice two days ago.

Yes, with about a gazillion posts debating the subject immediately afterwards. The anti-climax of this announcement (though probably required) was kind of my point.

Wow! I'm totally psyched about the number of candidates running for Mideast Assembly!

Time to throw my hat in too. I'm running for reelection.

Uh, folks. Not to dampen all the enthusiasm here BUT:

The Supreme Court has not ruled on RowanBrandon's appeal;

As his sentence is stayed pending outcome of the appeal, he currently remains a senator;

There currently is no vacant Senate seat nor will there be if the Supreme Court rules in RB's favor.

Simply put I think we ALL need to hold our horses and these campaigns put on hold until when and if there actually is a vacancy.

Methinks the SOIA goofed mightily in announcing a special election to fill a vacancy that currently doesn't exist, and may not come to be at all.

I believe you mean the SoFA, that does not fall under my area of jurisdiction.

I suppose I'll run for Mideast Assembly out of protest, if only because there are no other real lefties in the running.

Isn't Ben in there? He's pretty much a Lefty if you take out Foreign Policy, which isn't really important to Assemblies anyway.

Still endorsed (along with Ben).

Even though I'm enjoying my short stint in the Assembly very much, I shall not be running for re-election or accepting write-in votes.

Taking on more obligations in the real game in April and lots of client work ahead as well.

Too bad. Sad
