An ungerrymandered Oregon legislative district map really should not give Republicans that good of a chance to take a majority.

All the counties are left intact except Sullivan County which I split to make population more even.

Only Cumberland County is split.

I took the Daily Kos map and changed the 2 Eastern District Borders to put all of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area in a single District.

I could have made the Red and Yellow Districts much neater looking by splitting even a single County.

It is quite possible we never get the at-large states, or get them all last, since the congressional PVIs are the same in their cases as the well known state PVIs.

Ugh, I hope all the states get data.  Sometimes, it is fun to mess around with seeing what would happen if states had more seats than they actually did.

Only 5 Counties split.

Theoretical 3D-2R IA Gerrymander + no Counties split.

The Cyan District was extremely close in 2008; McCain edges out Obama by 80 votes.

Red, Green, and Blue have Dem PVI.

Cyan and Magenta have Rep PVI.
