The two Goodwins are cousins of Manchin, correct? If one of them runs for Governor now, the other could run when Manchin retires or, if they really want to, take down Capito and have the following be the case:

Senator I: Manchin
Senator II: Manchin's Cousin, Booth Goodwin
Governor: Manchin's Cousin, Booth's Brother Carte Goodwin

Could someone explain why Booth is running instead of Carte Goodwin? From watching speeches + on paper credentials, the short-time Senator is far more charismatic and likeable than the attorney.
