Despite all Menendez's problems, I myself have trouble seeing New Jersey electing a Republican Senator this year.  Of course, even in 1974 the GOP won a seat in Nevada and its rare for gains to be made by just one party, but I think Bush's appalling approvals in New Jersey are the albatross around Kean's neck.
