Not that most folks don't already know that McCain is an empty wind bag, or that the video clip below is a perfect apples to apples comparison to today - but it is funny all the same.

I particularly enjoy how he (and Republicans as a whole) was able to distinguish the difference between the troops and the mission at this time (It was the Democrats that were having some challenges on that front at the time), but has some how lost that ability now.

It's called a double standard.  Republicans use them often.

McCain and Romney are the worst of the flip-floppers on the GOP side.  Romney is scum, but at least he pretends to be conservative.  McCain...  the only thing he doesn't flip on (that I wish he did) is that he support amnesty.

I agree that McCain and Romney are particularly bad and do not represent the GOP as a whole.  But when these two people are considered as 2 of the 3 most likely presidential candidates (at least right now) on the GOP side, it shows how weak the candidate pool is.

To be honest, Rudy Giuliani is the best of the GOP candidates, but snagging the nomination is going to be a hard task for that social liberal.

As much, if not more, as the Democrats.
