Do you think a Landrieu is going to seize the opportunity, or will they give it to the GOP?

Who is Governor Vitter going to announce as his own successor as U.S. Senator for the remaining year?

What is the election law in Louisiana, btw? Can he announce his successor by his own? Or does the state legislature have to approve his choice?
