Clips from this speech.  Watch it all, it keeps getting better:

Palin hadn't been full exposed as unlikable at the convention.  There's tons of great clips of the dumb things said at the 2008 RNC if any lib editor is willing to take a crack at it.

I believe Fred Thompson among others noted in his speech then that there was no impending economic crisis and the left was just doom and gloom.

Hmm, normally I find his voice a lot more charismatic than that. Perhaps it was just a bad speech.

Fever and a staph infection, or so it sounds.

I doubt that he then knew how awful Sarah Palin was. Few did -- I included, and you have some idea of what I think of her.

(In short, she might make a Toronto Blue Jays fan out of me).

I just lost a considerable amount of respect for Jon Huntsman.

Well, I hope so, because having a Rand Paul voice would be too much injustice for Huntsman.

Because he made a speech supporting Sarah Palin's bid for Vice President in 2008? Why? They all do something to the extent every four years...

He made a speech supporting his own party's ticket in the last presidential election?

OMG, this is...wait, what is it? Huh

It's Palin being able to show her competing candidates praising her.

Wouldn't taking things out of context like that just make her part of the liberal gotcha media?

Yeah this sort of stuff is easy to shrug off. It's a lot better when you have people from your opponent's party trashing them (like Reagan did with his Ted Kennedy ads against Carter in 1980 or Whitman did her Bill Clinton ad against Jerry Brown.)

Huntsman seems like a great candidate.
