Can a governor sponsor/introduce a bill? IMO, it can only be done by an assemblymember (but he can indicate that it's done on the governor's behalf).

I have decided to vote against this bill, no matter what. Badger makes a good point in noting that that all this bill does is making it infinitely harder for a woman to obtain an abortion, and I will not go along with that.

I disagree. We should be trying to minimize the need for abortions, not trying to make it hard to get one.

those two things aren't mutually exclusive, you know.
