How'd he'd hurt the country? There's no evidence any terrorist attacks were thwarted by NSA surveillance as mentioned in another thread.

Guess what: the security services don't always shout about foiled plots from the rooftops.

al Qaeda's communication methods are not likely to be intercepted in this way. They don't give vital info in emails.

I've yet to hear anything convincing about how Snowden hurt anyone.
